Project Description

A noise study was prepared for a proposed data center in order to determine if an excessive amount of noise would be generated at the property line, possibly resulting in complaints from the neighbors. The data center noise sources were the building chillers and the emergency generators. Noise was analyzed in all four directions for three phases of the data center master plan and general recommendations were made to provide enhanced sound control for the equipment.
