Jorge Gomez is a specialist in electronic systems engineering and voice and data structured cabling design. In an engineering career than spans more than 25 years, Jorge has served healthcare, hospitality, criminal justice, educational, government and corporate clients. Roles include project manager, electronic systems engineer, resident engineering inspector and applications engineer. Jorge has designed entry and access control, perimeter security and fire alarm systems, as well as communications, television signal distribution and voice and data systems. He has an engineering degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a master’s degree in business administration from Georgia State University.

A project engineer in low voltage system design, Kaleb Perkins is a specialist of healthcare, electronic security, and telecommunication systems. Project experience includes the design of entry and access control, perimeter security, nurse call, video surveillance, television signal distribution, and voice and data systems for various facility types. His experience in Revit and Autocad has helped J&A Engineering deliver state-of-the-art drawings of low voltage and audio visual systems. He has an engineering degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology.

Stuart Wall is a project engineer whose experience includes schematic design, contract documents and construction methods. As an electrical designer, he has provided technical advice and direction to both clients and internal engineers and has been involved in the complete design process for power, lighting and fire protection systems for buildings and landscapes. As a Revit coordinator, Stuart has been responsible for Revit design standards as well as electrical families, details, schedules and cross department coordination of Revit families. Stuart graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a bachelor of science in electrical engineering.

Ken brings more than 35 years of knowledge and experience to low voltage system design for electronic security and telecommunication projects. Ken’s expertise includes the design and support of VoIP nurse call, overhead paging, real -time location, TV distribution, sound masking, enterprise smartphone, fire alarm, networking, code compliance, asset protection, CCTV, access control, intercom, and area of refuge.

Allen Johnston is a Production Manager and Project Coordinator. Allen leads the charge in crafting visionary solutions that redefine connectivity. With a blend of artistic flair and technical expertise, he oversees the creation of cutting-edge telecom infrastructure designs that not only meet but exceed industry standards. From conceptualization to execution, he and his team harness the power of innovation to deliver bespoke designs tailored to clients’ unique needs.  Allen is a systems designer with experience in delivering state-of-the-art design services in fiber optics, FTTH (fiber-to-the-home), CATV, and VoIP. Allen’s software expertise includes Revit and Autodesk. Allen earned an associate’s degree in mechanical drafting & design from Lanier Technical College. “Let’s collaborate to shape the future of communication, one meticulously crafted design at a time.” 

Vincent Parker’s vast experience in computer-aided design (CAD) and Revit helps J&A Engineering produce professional quality drawings of low voltage systems.  Vincent has a degree in computer aided design & drafting from ITT Technical Institute.

Brian Tubbs began his career as a production designer and manager in 2000. He is a specialist of OSP conduit, fiber and structured cabling pathways. His project experience includes the design of data rooms, data center layouts, communication infrastructures and site management for both OSP and ISP projects. He has utilized a variety of CAD packages including AutoCAD, Revit, Visio and Microsoft Project. Brian is a Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) and has been a member of Building Industry Consulting Services International (BICSI) since 2012. Brian started with J&A in 2017 and in 2022 joined the AV team. A few months later he attained his Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) to further his expertise in AV design.

Jim Gillis specializes in AV and IT design ranging from broadcast control room upgrades to large-scale audio visual systems. Jim has more than 20 years of experience that includes product design and development, AutoCAD design and project commissioning. His industry certifications include Infocomm, CEDIA, and Crestron. He has worked extensively with Crestron, AMX, URC, Visio, Cisco, Ubiquity, VTC, and his project experience includes access control, security and surveillance; acoustics; and telecommunications. Jim attended the Institute of Audio Research and Lebanon Valley College.

Laura Johnston brings extensive experience in audio-visual design and commissioning, including system design, site surveys, project documentation, programming, installation support, system commissioning, and customer training. Her experience has included corporate, higher education, house of worship, and visitor-attraction environments.    Laura is an AVIXA CTS-D certified professional and also holds certifications in networking, Dante, Q-SYS, Crestron DM NVX, and other AV technologies.

Micah Horne is a systems designer with experience in delivering state-of-the-art design services in fiber optics, FTTH (fiber-to-the-home), CATV, and VoIP. He has 20 years of experience in the civil engineering and land surveying industries. Micah’s software expertise includes Revit and Autodesk. He earned an associate’s degree in AutoCAD drafting & design from Remington Technical College, and attended school for land surveying at Middle Georgia College. Micah is a member of BICSI.

William Pruitt began his career as an AutoCAD Drafter and Designer in architecture before transitioning to telecommunication. His 10 years of experience in CADD and telecommunication helps J&A Engineering in the design and production of low voltage systems drawings. His area of focus is security, access control, video surveillance and nurse call systems. William graduated from Georgia Southern University in 2014 with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.

Peggy Haines brings a wealth of experience in business administration, accounting, and human resources, having worked with Fortune 500 companies, nonprofit organizations, and start-ups. As Office Manager and Accounting Specialist at J&A Engineering, she enjoys wearing many hats and plays an important role in keeping the company’s daily operations running smoothly. Known for her approachable personality, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail, Peggy is dedicated to supporting her colleagues and creating a positive, efficient workplace. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English, Creative Writing from Florida State University and is a SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP). Peggy combines her diverse professional experience with a genuine enthusiasm for people and helping the team succeed.

Corey Griffin is an ambitious Audio-Visual Systems Engineer who fully joined J&A after a multi-year internship. His skillfulness in Revit, AutoCAD, and technical writing allows him to meet each project’s individual needs. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Kennesaw State University from 2024.

Ryan Gomez is a low-voltage Revit engineer at J&A Engineering Consultants, joining the company full-time after completing three co-op rotations over the span of two years while attending the University of Cincinnati. Upon completion, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering Technology in 2026. During his time at J&A, Ryan has contributed to the design of telecommunications, security, access control, and video surveillance systems for a variety of commercial, educational, and healthcare projects using Revit and computer-aided design (CAD) model systems. His experience with the firm’s design standards and collaborative approach allows him to support projects from concept through construction while continuing to expand his expertise in low-voltage system design.

Max Ahola is a systems engineer with a growing expertise in Revit and computer-aided design (CAD) to assist with low voltage systems projects. Max recently earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from Kennesaw State University with hopes to learn more about designing and managing professional-grade low-voltage systems projects.

Rafael Ramirez is a dedicated professional with a strong background in both the military and telecommunications. After serving four years in the Marine Corps, he pursued his passion for engineering by earning an associate’s degree in mechanical drafting and design from Lanier Technical College. With nine years of experience in the telecommunications industry, Rafael has honed his skills across various stages of the field, including fiber optic design for residential applications and modifying antennas and tower mounts on cell towers and rooftops. His proficiency in AutoCAD will be instrumental in bringing innovative solutions to complex projects.

Sean Morrell is a Network Administrator and U.S. Marine Corps veteran with four years of experience designing, implementing, securing, and maintaining enterprise communication networks. Throughout his military career, he supported secure network operations for thousands of users across domestic and international locations, including South Korea, Australia, and the Philippines. Sean’s expertise includes network design, Cisco-based infrastructure, system implementation, performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and cybersecurity.

Brayden Morgan earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Information Systems from the University of North Georgia. After joining J&A Engineering as an intern, Brayden was promoted to a full-time Low Voltage Revit Designer in June 2026. In his current role, Brayden utilizes Revit and computer-aided design (CAD) software to support the development of low voltage engineering projects. He continues to expand his technical expertise while collaborating with J&A’s engineering team to deliver quality designs. Brayden brings enthusiasm, a strong willingness to learn, and a commitment to professional growth to his role.
