Jorge Gomez is a specialist in electronic systems engineering and voice and data structured cabling design. In an engineering career than spans more than 25 years, Jorge has served healthcare, hospitality, criminal justice, educational, government and corporate clients. Roles include project manager, electronic systems engineer, resident engineering inspector and applications engineer. Jorge has designed entry and access control, perimeter security and fire alarm systems, as well as communications, television signal distribution and voice and data systems. He has an engineering degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a master’s degree in business administration from Georgia State University.

Since 1985, Keith Jones has specialized in the area of electronic systems engineering. Keith has worked in a variety of roles, including project manager, electronic system design, electronic systems sales and marketing. Project experience includes the design of electronic security and telecommunication systems for criminal justice, hospitality, educational, healthcare, government, manufacturing and corporate clients. Keith studied electrical engineering at Southern Polytechnic State University.

A project engineer in low voltage system design, Kaleb Perkins is a specialist of healthcare, electronic security, and telecommunication systems. Project experience includes the design of entry and access control, perimeter security, nurse call, video surveillance, television signal distribution, and voice and data systems for various facility types. His experience in Revit and Autocad has helped J&A Engineering deliver state-of-the-art drawings of low voltage and audio visual systems. He has an engineering degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology.

Project Engineer

Stuart Wall is a project engineer whose experience includes schematic design, contract documents and construction methods. As an electrical designer, he has provided technical advice and direction to both clients and internal engineers and has been involved in the complete design process for power, lighting and fire protection systems for buildings and landscapes. As a Revit coordinator, Stuart has been responsible for Revit design standards as well as electrical families, details, schedules and cross department coordination of Revit families. Stuart graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a bachelor of science in electrical engineering.

Chris holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Georgia State University and earned a NICET Level III – Fire Alarm Systems Certification.

Ken brings more than 35 years of knowledge and experience to low voltage system design for electronic security and telecommunication projects. Ken’s expertise includes the design and support of VoIP nurse call, overhead paging, real -time location, TV distribution, sound masking, enterprise smartphone, fire alarm, networking, code compliance, asset protection, CCTV, access control, intercom, and area of refuge.

Robbie Morrell has specialized in the area of low voltage system design and installation since 1999. His experience encompasses security, access control, fire alarm, and video surveillance systems as well as network design and implementation for the most cutting edge technologies. Project experience includes the design of low-voltage systems for criminal justice, hospitality, educational, healthcare, government, manufacturing and corporate clients. Robbie has a degree in computer aided design & drafting from ITT Technical Institute.

 Jung Park has over 20 years experience in the sound and AV industry working as a live sound engineer, broadcast audio engineer and an AV system design engineer. Jung has been a project system design engineer for clients education, corporate, and worship sectors. Jung holds a Certified Technology Specialist Design (CTS-D) accreditation from InfoComm International, a DMC-D from Crestron Technical Institute, as well as certifications and licenses from BSS, Biamp, Yamaha Digital Mixer, Polycom Video Conference and Symetrix. He also earned a Bachelor’s degree in business management from Hoseo University in South Korea.

Brian Tubbs, RCDD, CTS

Project Engineer

Brian Tubbs began his career as a production designer and manager in 2000. He is a specialist of OSP conduit, fiber and structured cabling pathways. His project experience includes the design of data rooms, data center layouts, communication infrastructures and site management for both OSP and ISP projects. He has utilized a variety of CAD packages including AutoCAD, Revit, Visio and Microsoft Project. Brian is a Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) and has been a member of Building Industry Consulting Services International (BICSI) since 2012. Brian started with J&A in 2017 and in 2022 joined the AV team. A few months later he attained his Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) to further his expertise in AV design.

Jim Gillis specializes in AV and IT design ranging from broadcast control room upgrades to large-scale audio visual systems. Jim has more than 20 years of experience that includes product design and development, AutoCAD design and project commissioning. His industry certifications include Infocomm, CEDIA, and Crestron. He has worked extensively with Crestron, AMX, URC, Visio, Cisco, Ubiquity, VTC, and his project experience includes access control, security and surveillance; acoustics; and telecommunications. Jim attended the Institute of Audio Research and Lebanon Valley College.

He has 20 years of experience in the civil engineering and land surveying industries. Micah’s software expertise includes Revit and Autodesk. He earned an associate’s degree in AutoCAD drafting & design from Remington Technical College, and attended school for land surveying at Middle Georgia College. Micah is a member of BICSI.

William Pruitt began his career as an AutoCAD Drafter and Designer in architecture before transitioning to telecommunication. His 10 years of experience in CADD and telecommunication helps J&A Engineering in the design and production of low voltage systems drawings. His area of focus is security, access control, video surveillance and nurse call systems. William graduated from Georgia Southern University in 2014 with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.

Ryan Gomez is learning and working in Revit and computer-aided design (CAD) models to assist in J&A Engineering’s low voltage systems projects. Ryan is currently gaining experience as he completes his work study through the Co-op program he is pursuing at the University of Cincinnati. Upon completion, Ryan will gain a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering Technology. Previous experience includes working as an MEP Project Engineer in Training for the construction and renovation of premier healthcare facilities in Cincinnati.

Lee Griner spent the early years of his career in software development and identity access management engineering/implementation before hopping over to low voltage design/engineering. His 6 years working in consulting and client facing roles provides the insights needed to bridge technical complexities with client needs. Past projects have had him interface with people internationally via US Military and corporate clients for application development and cybersecurity implementation from project start to product handoff. Lee completed his B.S. in Computer Engineering at The Georgia Institute of Technology and is an Atlanta local.

After serving four years in the Marine Corps, he pursued his passion for engineering by earning an associate’s degree in mechanical drafting and design from Lanier Technical College. With nine years of experience in the telecommunications industry, Rafael has honed his skills across various stages of the field, including fiber optic design for residential applications and modifying antennas and tower mounts on cell towers and rooftops. His proficiency in AutoCAD will be instrumental in bringing innovative solutions to complex projects.
