Project Description
J&A Engineering staff was responsible for designing numerous low voltage systems for new National Archives and Records Administration project for the Federal Government. The systems designed by J&A Engineering include the voice/data/CATV infrastructure systems throughout the 475,000 square foot facility. Additional systems designed include all building and property security and access control systems. Security systems include indoor & outdoor IP-based video surveillance systems, electronic intrusion detection, and door and gate control systems. Finally, J & A Engineering was responsible for the design of the audio visual systems for the large multi-purpose areas and selected conference rooms. The audio video systems also included video conferencing capability. The total construction cost of the project was approximately $100 million.
