Managing Member, Senior Project Engineer
Jorge Gomez is a specialist in electronic systems engineering and voice and data structured cabling design. In an engineering career than spans more than 25 years, Jorge has served healthcare, hospitality, criminal justice, educational, government and corporate clients. Roles include project manager, electronic systems engineer, resident engineering inspector and applications engineer. Jorge has designed entry and access control, perimeter security and fire alarm systems, as well as communications, television signal distribution and voice and data systems. He has an engineering degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a master’s degree in business administration from Georgia State University.
Lead Designer, Senior Project Manager
Since 1985, Keith Jones has specialized in the area of electronic systems engineering. Keith has worked in a variety of roles, including project manager, electronic system design, electronic systems sales and marketing. Project experience includes the design of electronic security and telecommunication systems for criminal justice, hospitality, educational, healthcare, government, manufacturing and corporate clients. Keith studied electrical engineering at Southern Polytechnic State University.
Since 2004, Chris Overby has specialized in the area of electronic security and fire alarm systems engineering. His design experience and training encompasses many leading manufacturers as well as design and implementation for various facility types. Chris holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Georgia State University and earned a NICET Level III – Fire Alarm Systems Certification.
Kaleb Perkins, EIT
A project engineer in low voltage system design, Kaleb Perkins is a specialist of healthcare, electronic security, and telecommunication systems. Project experience includes the design of entry and access control, perimeter security, nurse call, video surveillance, television signal distribution, and voice and data systems for various facility types. His experience in Revit and Autocad has helped J&A Engineering deliver state-of-the-art drawings of low voltage and audio visual systems. He has an engineering degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
A specialist in process improvement and lean manufacturing projects, Mackenzie Stevenson has worked on low voltage systems for a variety of clients. Her experience in computer-aided design (CAD) has helped J&A Engineering deliver state-of-the-art drawings of low voltage systems for a variety of clients, including ajar utilities and correctional facilities. Mackenzie earned an engineering degree at the Georgia Institute of Technology and a drafting technology degree at Chattahoochee Technical Institute.
Robbie Morrell has specialized in the area of low voltage system design and installation since 1999. His experience encompasses security, access control, fire alarm, and video surveillance systems as well as network design and implementation for the most cutting edge technologies. Project experience includes the design of low-voltage systems for criminal justice, hospitality, educational, healthcare, government, manufacturing and corporate clients. Robbie has a degree in computer aided design & drafting from ITT Technical Institute.
Senior Audio Visual Engineer, CTS, DMC-D-4K
Jung Park has over 20 years experience in the sound and A/V industry working as a live sound engineer, broadcast audio engineer and an A/V system design engineer. Jung has been a project system design engineer for clients education, corporate, and worship sectors. Jung holds a certified technology specialist (CTS) accreditation from InfoComm International, a DMC-D from Crestron Technical Institute, as well as certifications and licenses from BSS, Biamp, Yamaha Digital Mixer, Polycom Video Conference and Symetrix. He also earned a Bachelor’s degree in business management from Hoseo University in South Korea.
Louis Calvache, CTS
Senior Audio Visual Engineer
Louis Calvache has 28 years of experience in the sound and AV industry. He has served as a design engineer, AV consultant and a project manager. Louis has extensive experience in the engineering of audio/video, control systems, MATV, security and infrastructure systems. Louis holds a Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) accreditation from InfoComm International and certifications from Extron School for A/V Technologies.
Stuart Wall is a project engineer whose experience includes schematic design, contract documents and construction methods. As an electrical designer, he has provided technical advice and direction to both clients and internal engineers and has been involved in the complete design process for power, lighting and fire protection systems for buildings and landscapes. As a Revit coordinator, Stuart has been responsible for Revit design standards as well as electrical families, details, schedules and cross department coordination of Revit families. Stuart graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a bachelor of science in electrical engineering.
Allen Johnston is a systems designer with experience in delivering state-of-the-art design services in fiber optics, FTTH (fiber-to-the-home), CATV, and VoIP. Allen’s software expertise includes Revit and Autodesk. Allen earned an associate’s degree in mechanical drafting & design from Lanier Technical College.
Vincent Parker’s vast experience in computer-aided design (CAD) and Revit helps J&A Engineering produce professional quality drawings of low voltage systems. Vincent has a degree in computer aided design & drafting from ITT Technical Institute.
Suyog Mehta, PMP
Suyog Mehta’s expertise includes TCP/IP-based security systems including video surveillance, access control, biometrics, perimeter protection and home automation. Prior to joining J&A Engineering, he was ADT’s Installation and Project Manager of Security and Safety, a role that encompassed IP/HD-TVI video surveillance, access control, intrusion and fire alarm systems with central monitoring. Suyog holds certifications as a Project Management Professional Certification (PMP) and Certified Scrum Master (CSM). He earned a bachelor of electronics & telecommunications engineering from the University of Pune, India, and an accelerated post-graduate diploma in business management (MBA) from NMIMS in Mumbai, India.
Brian Tubbs, RCDD
Brian Tubbs began his career as a production and AutoCAD designer and manager in 2000. He is a specialist of OSP conduit, fiber and structured cabling pathways. His project experience includes the design of data rooms, data center layouts, communications infrastructures and site management for both OSP and ISP projects. He has utilized a variety of CAD packages including AutoCAD 2014 – 2017, Visio and Microsoft Project. Brian is a Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) and has been a member of Building Industry Consulting Services International (BICSI) since 2012.
Jim Gillis, CTS, DMC-D-4K
Senior Audio Visual Engineer
Jim Gillis specializes in A/V and IT design ranging from broadcast control room upgrades to large-scale audio visual systems. Jim has more than 20 years of experience that includes product design and development, AutoCAD design and project commissioning. His industry certifications include Infocomm, CEDIA, and Crestron. He has worked extensively with Crestron, AMX, URC, Visio, Cisco, Ubiquity, VTC, and his project experience includes access control, security and surveillance; acoustics; and telecommunications. Jim attended the Institute of Audio Research and Lebanon Valley College.
Douglas Kleeger, CTS-D, DMC-E/S, XTP-E, KCD
Senior Audio Visual Project Engineer | Project Manager
Doug Kleeger has been working in the technology industry for almost 40 years. He has extensive experience as both an A/V design consultant and A/V integrator. Doug’s project experience includes higher education, corporate, government, emergency operations centers, houses of worship, performance spaces, judicial, healthcare, K-12, and hospitality. Whether it’s new construction, renovation or acoustic/noise abatement problem solving, J&A clients benefit from Doug’s decades of experience. Doug holds an associate’s degree in applied science, engineering science from the State University of New York at Farmingdale.
Kirsten Barringer-Cook is an architectural and environmental acoustics designer and consultant. She has extensive experience in gathering and analyzing field measurements of sound transmission, impact isolation, reverberation time, environmental and mechanical noise. Her portfolio includes educational, hospitality, retail, and mixed-use projects, multifamily developments, and performance venues. Her areas of expertise include interior acoustics, sound isolation, mechanical noise and environmental acoustics. Kirsten holds an engineering degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology.

Jameelah brings more than 18 years of experience to supporting J&A Engineering’s financial operations.
